C. J. Fletcher, a native of Nashville, TN, graduated with distinction in Fine Arts and continued to study art appreciation at the University of Louisville.

Fletcher says her paintings are the result of what she was feeling and thinking at a given moment. She explains: "When the initial thought enters my mind for a particular piece of artwork and it becomes reality on canvas, that painting is not complete until I can feel it in my soul.”

Fletcher adds: “As an artist of any kind, I believe you can prolong the God-given talent, delay it, put it on hold, or reduce the creativity to almost nothing, but you never can abolish it. That’s why I will always be a painter.”
